Are you speculating or have a source / inside info ? I hope you are wrong but I would not be shocked AT ALL if indeed this is a precursor to Bonvoy launch and the hotel jumped the gun - who knows . An early commenter on Lucky’s blog said that he/she had seen this language at other non-us resorts but didn’ t name names. Could also be that there will be a new resort specific upgrade policy that is forthcoming. Just have to wait for Bonvoy.
