Most of the time my boarding pass is out of sight but for those times when it isn't it other passengers are not welcome to stare at it. The "uncomfortable situation" is when some nosy busybody decides to stare at my personal documents. I'm not going to tolerate this behavior simply out of a desire to be non-confrontational.
