F downgrade on GUF via TA ticket - rights and expectations?

Looking for advice.

Cancelled BA flight. Rerouted in J via another carrier. Fine, got to destination, is what it is.

Booking made via a TA using a GUF. J fare paid, F acquired as a result of GUF.

Refund for downgrade already rejected because 'it's the TA' s responsibility'. Not very happy about all this. Expenses also rejected as an extra slap in the face.

What can I expect? GUF reimbursement? Avios? Refund in cash of some degree?

Advice appreciated as I'd like to elevate as much as logically possible. Request for ORC also ignored thus far.

Happy new year y'all!
