I don't know how the segments pair up on UA MP.
The SQ F Suites only appeared married to this UA J segment when searching Aeroplan. SQ J-UA J was also available on the same flights.
Each program has it's own weaknesses and limitations. In order to find interesting TPAC and sometimes even TATL routings, I often have to search with starting points that are not where I am based. So I look at everything from YYZ, YUL, YVR, LAX, SFO, ORD, BOS, IAD, IAH as examples.
In this case, I found it by searching SIN-SFO and got SQ F Suites- UA J, whereas my outbound married segments for SFO-SIN showed up as UA J-NZ J, also via AKL.
