They had a red (which I did not have) and a Chilean chardonnay which was quite passable. Did not look at the red, as I was more in the mood for a glass (or multiple thereof) of white. Only went one evening.
I always think these are missed opportunities. With England producing more and more award-winning wine it would be a great opportunity for a property to offer something local or, at least, regional. The same for other hotels in wine-growing areas.
