I have noticed that gender may influence the awarding of GS status. Two women I know well both received a renewal invitation in early December, with PQD’s in the low 40’s. The husband of one was just below 50, and will finish the year near 60, and is waiting til Jan 11 to find out. It actually would make sense, as most GS members I see are men, and United likely wants a membership more closely resembling the general population
Wouldn't it actually be a by-the-book definition of sexism? Treating someone differently because of their gender?
