I had the same issue in ORD back in August. I noticed the car still in the app two days after returning it. I called and customer service opened a ticket and said it would take 5 business days to locate the car and fix it. I called daily because I was getting harassed with automated phone calls saying I didn't return the car and they also blocked 3k on my credit card.
It took close to a week go get it fixed and get the receipt. They also sent me a registered letter that I received 2 weeks later basically accusing me of stoling the car and charged me 60$ for it. Since my company was paying, I didn't fight the 60$ as I felt I wasted way too much time dealing with this.

Out of curiosity, what was the $60 for? Obviously, if you did steal the car it was worth more the $60. Do they have a standard fee for
attempted theft?
