I guarantee you their credit card processor is looking at more than just the destination when making the determination. I have a friend who flies to SDQ less than I do, and never gets pinged and he books directly with Delta.

Is it my zip code? I remember when Macy's said they don't accept checks from people in my zip code. Is it my last name? I remember the time a real estate agent told me my last name didn't appeal to the Jewish owner. Is it my sex? Is it my age? Is it a combination of all?

For me the entire thing is suspect, I can understand once or twice when I started flying to SDQ but now with a pattern of over 30 flights over the past 2 years it makes the entire thing seem suspect to me.
Not a bogus excuse. I used to work in the financial sector in the DR and credit card fraud was a big issue. I've had my cards cloned here at least twice, one of them at a restaurant where many locals report the same issue (Chef Pepper).
