Earned Gold in 2017 so was Gold all of 2018 but only earned Silver in 2018, does my status change on Jan 1st? Jan 31st? end of Feb? Saw some old stuff from 2015 that says end of Jan but United elsewhere says status earned in 2018 is good through Feb 2020, but that doesn't clarify for status earned in 2017.

Reason, multiple international trips in Feb that will all combine to put me over 50k but hoping I will still be Gold so I won't lose my pre-selected seats and can use the United Club.
