The best pool in my opinion is the Athenee. It is also close to BTS. ROS has very little in walking distance but with river ferries its easy to get to a number of tourist spots.
Actually, the ROS has two pools and both get direct sun exposure in the afternoon as the sub sets in the opposite direction.
