There seemed to be several East Coast - DFW flights that were cancelled or heavily delayed today. I know someone who was supposed to travel from RSW to DFW tonight, but the last two flights of the day were cancelled.

My guess would be either the bad weather in between airports making routing difficult, or aircraft backlogged from the mess at DFW on Wednesday.
