FlightAware shows 5364 originally going BDL-BWI-DTW. Looks like the BDL-BWI leg went out on time but as you said, looks like a plane swap caused your BWI-DTW to go out delayed.

And it it looks like N935WN ( the plane from BDL-BWI) got swapped to work a delayed WN204 BWI-BDL-MCO. Don’t work for WN so can’t tell you the specifics of why.
