When they do it seems I get teased with my first bag in the first 5 only to see my 2nd bag come out last. It comes down to training and money, like everything at AA. Whether the bags are handled by contractors or employees, AA simply doesn't care enough to devote enough resources to improving the quality of service here. It's extremely frustrating. Consider anything under 20 minutes a win.
My travel weeks are 6 days every week. I've always checked a bag. All my fellow consultant friends stuff everything in a carry-on, not sure how they do it, but it's not my thing. That said, for me it's rare my priority bag doesn't come out first. International travel is the exception. Just arrived at NRT a few days ago and priority bags didn't come out until after about 10 minutes of non-priority bags on the carousel.
