No receipt / Rental hasn't been closed out
I returned my rental to DEN Sunday night and the Avis agent recorded my miles and gas. I didn't get a receipt on the spot nor did I ask as I usually get the email receipt soon after leaving. Anyways next day, I never got the receipt and noticed that the rental was still showing on my Avis app as current rental.
I called customer service and asked them to provide a receipt. They asked some questions like what time I returned it and if I had put a full tank in. They said my rental wasn't checked in yet but said they would put a note on my profile/rental that it was checked in before the return time so I won't be charged for more then I was quoted for. Ok so I wait and now it's Wednesday and it's still showing up on my Avis app and still haven't received a receipt like the rental is still going on.
I haven't called again as I have faith on Avis taking care of this but has anyone encountered this before? I figured I'd give them another day or so before calling them again .
