I stayed at the Westin GC on points over the Summer. The hotel was nice but there were a couple of annoyances:

1) We arrived at the hotel a little before noon (I had previously emailed with the concierge to let them know our arrival time) but they wouldn't let us check in until after 4PM, so after registering we had to wait in the lobby for over 4 hours despite my status. It seems that they have no system for aligning rooms to waiting guests and prioritizing cleaning services.
2) The resort fees are steep. They did give us a handful of breakfast vouchers since the resort fee includes wifi which is already covered by status. But I was there with my wife and two kids and the breakfast vouchers only covered me. Resort fees were $65 per day plus another $23 per day for my family's breakfast, so for 8 days that was over $700. Kinda defeats the purpose of a vacation on points.

Lunch and dinner on the resort was also obscenely priced, so after a few of those we just ate locally.
