AC's boarding time is roughly ETD -40mins. As a parent, do you really want to be wrestling with your kid(s) in a confined space for 40 mins + the entire flight duration?
When travelling with my little one, I always board last. Aisles tend to be clear so walk straight to the seat, get buckled in, and then push back.
as a parent I would want the choice. Just like some in zone 1 who decide to board last, doesn’t mean we don’t give others a choice.
whn we traveled with those under 2 they used to let us preboard and it was very helpful. To get things settled in and certain items out and ready before others started filling seats was helpful. And usually as we were not at the front we didn’t block those with priority at the front.
