With 120k miles + taxes, you can fly r/t two people in economy, if you can find dates with saver availability (you're in luck because many more dates available to you as the CC holder).
In this case it would be the same cost to get to/from any city, even smaller cities that normally have more expensive flights.
To get the extra 22k miles you could fly 22k miles, spend $22,000 on your United credit card, or open a CSR/CSP credit card and get the sign-up bonus and transfer those UR points to United miles.
