If you are dead set on Grand Cayman, then the redemption is worth it. We prefer the Westin for the reason someone else mentioned: beach access. The Westin owner also owns a property right across the street, which has reasonably priced dinners, good but not fancy that can be charged to a Westin room. Believe it is called Sunshine Suites or something like that.
