I always check CHI - LON, FRA, BER, PAR, MXP, FCO, AMS, ZRH, MAD, BCN and then I check NYC - the same list. Sometimes NYC - EU is $400+ cheaper in which case, if I have the time, I spend a day or two in NYC on the way with a cheap domestic fare (separate ticket).
