Bringing this old thread back to life, not sure when the metal changed from 777 HD on this route between HKG YVR. It is now operated by 787-9 with 247 in Y (3x3x3) 21 PY 29 J seats. I hear 787-9 is much nicer but never been on one on a long haul. Any recent experience in terms of comfort in Y or J on the 787-9? I am 6 feet. Lots of complaints about how bad it was in Y during the 777 HD days with 3x4x3 in Y.
