Yeah.. I am strongly waffling against just taking the 10pm AA flight for $130 in Y. Maybe the new 1K requirements have got me too worried about squeezing every possible PQD out of my travels

I assume that as a 1K my hotel should be covered by UA if I misconnect though, and would also be pushing to get endorsed over to the AA flight if DCA-EWR so much as breaks tempo. And a night in EWR followed by the morning flight isn't the end of the world, but if it's a near-certainty I might as well just spend the night in DC and fly in the morning.
