If you're going to live in Florida, why not EYW?
Or, if you'd like a little cool weather here and there, maybe PFN or VPS (live in quaint Seaside, FL and drive to PFN or VPS).

TPA is also another place to consider.
The airport isn't as congested as MCO, and the new DL terminal is pretty nice.
Getting around from TPA on DL is fairly easy-- albeit Song on many routes.

This makes me wonder, why did I leave FL for DC????
