I have an upcoming flight on KA (CRK-HKG-CRK) where as MPC member, I was able to pre-select the front biz class seats. (This flight is an all economy flight.)

When I checked moments ago, we will now be seated at the back of the plane. Called up MPC and they can't do anything to seat us infront even if those seats are still unassigned.

This has never happened to me before. I thought I will be guaranteed my selected seats at booking, unless there's an equipment swap.
