Domestically, Delta is tenfold better than United. Better lounges, better customer service, better domestic F/Y service. You'll be quite satisfied.
Thank you for that. Honestly, since I've made 1K, I haven't felt the love from UA. I get more perks and better treatment on Star Alliance airlines like ANA, Asiana and Air India.

Polaris is great, if the plane has been uprgaded with it. Most haven't, so too often I wind up in terrible J cabins with an ancient 2-3-2 layout. Awful.

And lastly: United's WiFi SUCKS. Bad. It never works. And it doesn't exist over the Pacific. How does PAL pull off consistent WiFi over the pacific and United can't do it on any routes they fly?

Meanwhile, Delta offers free messaging on all their flights.
