A couple of years ago the explanation was a "glitch" that was magically resolved after several people chimed in. I was then able to book my family summer holiday with comfortable long haul flights.
Anyone else seeing this again? I'm trying to book for a family trip 7 months from now to be safe...which I thought high revenue customers weren't necessarily expected to do given our very busy lifestyles and limited free time.
Anyone else seeing this? Another glitch or "exciting update" to the program?
What exactly are you searching for? 4-5 J IKK seats to a specific destination on specific dates?
If so, I'll say the same thing I said a few months ago - your expectations are out of whack. I just searched availability from YYC to LHR, CDG and CPH on a bunch of dates in summer and was able to get at least 2 seats every time and 4 were available most of the dates I looked looked at.
J IKK has had capacity controls for many years now - I've been SE for 6 years now and it was long gone by then. Load factors are higher and the opportunity cost of allocating seats to points redemptions is higher.
With all due respect, get over it. Shift your travel plans by a day. Fly in to a different nearby airport. With SE IKK, it's really not hard with even a small degree of flexibility.
