I'm not positive this is app related or phone related. I haven't checked in a year or two, but every device, including our built in GPS in the cars we own wanted me to exit the highway on I-70 in Colorado for a few miles. All wanted us to take a frontage road for a few miles, then jump back on I-70. My generic understanding is that the backend data is the same for all, but I could be wrong. My wife and I sometimes use two different apps on phones, the built in one on our new car that also has traffic, and my old school Garmin that is up to date thanks to Lifetime free updates, including traffic. We have done this out of curiosity more than anything, but more than once, none of the four devices agreed with each other on the best route or ETA.
