I have used Google Maps to assist me over a number of years, and a number of phones, and in a number of countries
1. iPhone6
2. Sony Ericsson Ksomething
3. iPhone6s
4. Huawei P20 Pro

​​I have been perfectly happy with the directions given on all these phones EXCEPT the Sony, where it would often tell me I was on a completely different address before we even started.

Unfortunately because Network reception in South Africa is not reliable, I have basically learnt to not rely on the Sony at all.. At least not for maps.

When I travel I am always very curious about going without using such services, and always look up directions in advance to get a general idea of route and potential interesting sights.
