Once again, thank you all for your help in resolving the issue I had with the booking process. And just for the record....

The trip went very well. Check in was a breeze. Boarding was reasonably well organised. The plane (a 787) was excellent. It actually was a more comfortable flight than we have had on the Delta 767s we have flown on for the past few years. The flight attendants were fine. Relatively decent food and plenty of drinks. IFE was good. Arrived on time and our baggage came through promptly. No complaints whatsoever. We would have no hesitation in flying with United again.
