I guess my main question was whether it was indeed possible to get a stay credited if one forgot to add member number to folio prior to check out. According to the T&C, that is what is required for stays to be credited. But as I mentioned, I will ask in person in a few weeks.
Perhaps you could explain the situation to them, asking if they can go back into the reservation add the number now and print out a copy of the folio with your Marriott number included, so that you can have one for your missing stay request? At any rate, this is your chance to grab a hard copy to use in case they can't repost it for you.
