If you have a ukulele or some maracas, or even a harmonica, I would recommend you take Marta to the North Avenue station (bring your luggage!) sit right near the top where the stairs come out, break out your ukulele/ maracas/harmonica...and begin playing, loud, louder and loudest! Don't worry about being skilled, just be earnest and sincere with your effort...The folks in Atlanta love our buskers, and we will gladly open our wallet, if you make a small sign saying you are trying to get home for Christmas I can assure you that you will make plenty of tips!
Once your finish there, walk a half block to the varsity and buy a Frosted Orange + a chili cheese slider....
it will take about 5 minutes of playing to make enough for a dinner for 4, and if you put in enough time it will pay for admission to the Georgia Aquarium...
also it is customary for our buskers to jump over the turnstile or reach and walk through the handicap entrance...it would be tacky to pay for a train ride if you just solicited from hard working Georgians!
