BA confirmed yesterday that they are in talks with JAL about JAL joining OneWorld. BA Also code-sharing and Frequent-Flyer Programme links "were on the agenda".

This is clearly in response to ANA joining Star-Alliance.

NB: ANA currently administers the BA Exec Club in Japan.
