But because DH stays have to be manually posted by the property in a dedicated portal, what might help OP is contacting the property directly and try to get them to post directly. They have to pay Marriott for the points, so they might not oblige.

I'm OP.

I have had three stays at a different Design Hotels property than the one in question and the credit to my Marriott was automatic for 2 of the stays. All three were booked through Concur and my Marriott member number was added correctly during the booking on Concur. The first one was right during the merger and they admitted it might take a while to post when I asked them at check-in. I had to call them directly a few months later and ask again and they posted the stay immediately.

Anyway, I am staying at the same hotel again in a few weeks and I will just ask them at check-in if they can post the missing stay for me.

I guess my main question was whether it was indeed possible to get a stay credited if one forgot to add member number to folio prior to check out. According to the T&C, that is what is required for stays to be credited. But as I mentioned, I will ask in person in a few weeks.
