Called in yesterday for any offers. $3k spend in 3 mo for 20k MR.
Reason being I need to aggressive MSRs on my other cards for the next 3 months.
If we presume the timeline you cited is accurate, ask yourself this question - after 1/26, when you can no longer recoup your annual fee, what motivation would AMEX have to offer you a retention bonus to keep the card for another year? They already have your annual fee for that year.
