Hmm... that gives me a mischevious idea. If we could get some sort of temporary tatoo transfer paper for our printers, we could print our online boarding pass out on it (as well as on regular paper). Then you cut out the tatoo transfer, apply it to your hand, forearm, buttock, forehead - whatever - and when you get to the gate just stick the aforementioned body part in front of the reader. Besides creating a really confused gate agent there would probably be some sort of TSA directive as a result that barcodes aren't secure and we'd all get to keep our cardstock as a result!
If you can't get a tatoo transfer, just print your BP out on sticky label paper, cut out the barcode, and stick it to your favorite tube of crest!
