For those who are interested here's the exact wording from the keycard insert - it is odd to mention "fair labor laws" as part of this policy. There is a larger card (that I didn't take a photo of) in the room itself that calls the policy "cost-conscious"

It is worth noting they did make it clear at check-in, and on this card that daily service can be requested.
