Maybe but she referred it to two supervisors who all said the same thing. That it couldn't be done in one transaction and I would have to pay two change fees of £150. I was on the phone for 25 minutes! It was OK in the end as I just changed the date online and instantly got offered a POUG saving the £150 change fee and for £30 less thanI'd been quoted.
Ive been at BA a few years and never came across an occassion where someone couldnt do an upgrade and change of flight in one transaction with one change fee.
