I have an early flight out of our small airport (BDL) to GCM (Grand Cayman) with a stopover in FLL.

Southwest doesn稚 issue boarding passes for int値 flights without checking in at the ticketing counter for proof of passport, etc.

Is there an official cutoff time for getting your boarding pass in that situation? Is there a cutoff that requires more time than a domestic flight?

i ask because I was planning on arriving like I normally would for a domestic flight - 1 hour before takeoff.

Southwest phone support just read the party line and told me to arrive 2 hours before an int値 flight.
