Interesting, I like the Westin Grand much better than the Wall Centre. I ALWAYS get a suite upgrade there, to a nice corner room.
Just finished a two night stay at the Metropolitan. Old tired hotel, but great service and free breakfast as a LTPPE or honey-badger or whatever Marriott is calling the highest level now.
Very convenient to the Vancouver City Centre train station which takes you to YVR for CA$9.20.
I'd stay at the Metropolitan again, especially as it was like $100 less than the Grand, and I'm on my own nickel.
