This might already have been covered but I just used the chat function to get the annual fee waived. Annual fee hit two weeks ago. Took two minutes. I stated I wanted to “Cancel my card because the annual fee Hit and I don’t use the card and/or Travel enough to justify the fee... but if possible I would keep the card open if you could waive the annual fee”. Slight pause. And then was told the annual fee would be refunded in 1-2 billing cycles.
