I stayed in one of the 2 bedroom villas earlier this year and have stayed at the Canyon Suites and regular resort many times and will reply in full to your questions later on, but just want to point out that the villa available on points is located on the second floor and only has a private hot tub and not the private pool like all the other villas located on ground level.

I still think it's a great deal for 60K points, but depending on when you're going a private hot tub may not be useful and you may end up using the main resort amenities anyway.
