My guess is that the $47 is the “Transportation Tax” and the “Security Fee” (I.e., the September 11 fee). Together, they’re close to $47. None of the Peruvian taxes should be waived, nor should the facility charges. I don’t think the US customs fees are waived. For international flights, the tax is different—a flat $18.30 each direction, rather than 7.5%.
