I booked a weekend award stay at the Sheraton late last year as a SPG Plat-50. I was given basically the worst room in the house, on the 4th floor or something similar, facing a dingy old building across the very narrow Coates Lane. Basically zero privacy, so I had to draw the curtains whenever I was in the room.

Plat amenity is also rubbish, the promised "tapas platter" was three deep-fried chicken wings (from frozen, of course).
