I think any copay would have been noted to you as you request e-ups, and you would have to agree to that before the e-up request is processed. So if you didn't see it, there is no co-pay (as is the case with O class)
Not only this - but you would have had to put in a credit card number. They only charge the card AFTER landing though, which I think is a bit interesting. Who am I to question Air Canada's IT though?
