Me too and I also agree.

My dad signed me up in 1987. Started traveling heavy in 1999. First million was pre-merger around 2010--so really about 11 years of heavy travel.

I thought the second million would come easier thanks to the merger bump (I gained about 150,000), but I've sputtered since my overall travel has dropped, but still hit 1K thanks to more paid premium fares in the last few years than the 20 years before that, combined. I'm currently about 2 years away from the 2MM mark.
