Some hotels offer the Book Now feature online. When finalizing the meeting, it shows a contract but does not mention Rewarding events. There have been quite a few posts where they have booked online and even went without an actual contract with everything happening as expected. However, the advice of having a signed contract that includes the wording for the RE is wise just in case it doesn't happen and the property refuses do post the event is wise. What's your risk tolerance? I like to believe people will do what is right and not try to cheat me. I have been proven wrong, but not often.
