As of this morning the executive room gets one teabag and two coffee pods.

Okay, I've not stayed in them all, but this is the 4th this trip

Great room, great pool area, very attentive staff great lounge....

Okay, still to experience afternoon tea and evening service. But so far so good.
I think there have been improvements based on what I have read over the last 12 months. The pool team are really great and if they recognise you as a frequent guest then they really do make an extra effort. This hotel however is a long way away from being one of the best hotels in Dubai. It isn't even the best hotel on the road it is located.

Compared to some of the flagship 5* hotels in the city, it goes to show how a star rating is very relative. It doesn't come close to a Ritz Carlton or the Jumeirah Beach Resort. The Conrad badly misses any kind of atmosphere for such a busy place come sunset.

I stayed 10 nights recently and the Cave was dead each evening, the two externally owned clubs on the 7th and Mez still attract a bad crowd and stink of smoke, the lobby bar has non existent service, and turn down is strictly when they fancy it, it would seem.

And the price is creeping back up.

Pool and location to airport help make it better but the rest is just fine and no more. It certainly isn't bad by any stretch but for the same money, you can get a lot more in Dubai.

Diamond recognition is also scarce across my past 4 visits since July.
