Not really much activity on this thread. Recently had a very brief two night stay at the FS, not really long enough to get a true feel for the hotel but it was an enjoyable stay.
Stayed in a deluxe sea view suite and really enjoyed the view from the room terrace. Normally I prefer a high view room and this one was on quite a low floor but I actually ended up quite enjoying being closer to the action below. Room definitely needs a refresh and felt old - however it was clean and in good condition. Bar was great, food was good and staff throughout the hotel were really warm, friendly and professional.
No language problems, although at times it was easier for me to breakout my schoolboy French. Also being such a short trip I barely left the vicinity of the hotel so was happy with the location - for a longer trip I don't think I'm 100% sold on the location.

All up as long as you're aware that this hotel is well and truly showing its age and have expectations accordingly - I think you'd have a nice stay here.
