If you qualify or re-qualify for Diamond in calendar year 2018, you'll have the status for all of 2019 and the first three months of 2020.

Check day-use rates, as they can be cheaper than overnight stays. On a lazy weekend morning,you can wander over to a hotel for breakfast, use the gym/pool/etc, and head home a couple of hours later.
