Yep UA downgraded a confirmed upgrade gave me $200 voucher and a row to myself in the front part of the back of the plane, without a prompt. When a first class seat later opened I was given the option to move up but I kept my Voucher and my seat in the back for the 75 minute flight. I have noticed that AA has been getting less customer friendly over the last 18 months. Too big for their britches??? At the same time United has become much more enjoyable to fly.
