The LV Marriott is a Marriott Suites, which is kind of a sub-chain. I've stayed in a few of them, and they're all pretty much the same as the Vegas one. So, it's not competing with suites and villas in the big resorts. That said, I generally like the layout and decor of those rooms.
That said, if they would ever fix the mechanical issues with the heating/cooling system and everything, the hotel would still be top-notch. The open area with the bedroom, sink and closets, with the AC right there, is a major design flaw. When those things get cranking, or your neighbor's does, it can be really hard to sleep.
